MCA will be exhibiting two projects, the CSET building and the new 3M headquarters building at the Green Life exhibition that will be held at the Milan Triennale from February 5th to March 28th this year.
"With Green Life we wish to show that it is possible to build more sustainable cities, exhibiting those urban areas that have been able to give a vision of the future, that have adopted courageous strategies, that have taken concrete action. It is an exhibition aimed at a wide a public of possible “motors of change”: young people who want to feel citizens of the world, professionals, planners, designers or developers with a vision of the future. An exhibition that can speak to ordinary people who are looking for solutions for their own sustainable lifestyles. An exhibition that will stimulate today’s urban designers and professionals, innovative material and plant manufacturers, private and public clients, political decision makers and knowledge and teaching institutions."
The exhibition is organised by Legambiente, Ambiente Italia and the Milan Triennale. It is sponsored by Comune di Milano, Provincia di Milano, Regione Lombardia, Politecnico Milano, Camera Commercio Mi, Fondazione Cariplo, Consiglio Nazionale Architetti, Associazione Nazionale Comuni Italiani (ANCI e ANCldeali), Associazione Agende 21 italiane, Unione Province Italiane, Fondazione Piano, CE Commissione Europea, EEA - Agenzia Europea Ambiente, ACE - Architects Council Europe, ICLEI – Local Governements for Sustainability.
The scientific committee including Thomas Herzog (Dean of the faculty of Architecture, T.U. Munchen), Giulio Ballio (Rector of Politecnico di Milano), Federico Butera (Prof. Politecnico Milano), Emilio Ambasz, Fulvio Irace and many other experienced experts in the field have been involved in the exhibition project.
